Hold Your Son Again
I have always been moved by the Pieta. The touching image of God's mother holding her dead Son. When life gives us a impossible task or problem we can abandon ourselves to the Mother of God. Lay dead in her arms and trust in her loving care. Let her hold her son again, us!
A Better Place
Several songs deal with suffering and death. For the Catholic death comes with the reward of heaven, a better place. People sometimes say "they are in a better place". Yet in communion we become one body in Christ, so we can be with our loved ones again. Death is truly a test of our faith.
